Do I need any special tools or automotive knowledge to install?

How much horsepower will I gain?
Results do vary and can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to see results due to computer learning. Stage 1 recalibrates the ignition and fuel based on the variables such as the fuel octane, ambient air temp and other sensors in addition to driving style.

How does this product work?
Using your OBD on board computer port - plugs right in - our product modifies signals sent to your vehicles ECU computer. The module optimizes functions such as ignition timing, air fuel mixture, fuel maps and produces more power and better gas mileage. The ECU of modern vehicles controls a series of actuators on an internal combustion engine to ensure the optimum running. It does this by reading values from a multitude of sensors within the engine bay, interpreting the data using multidimensional performance maps (Look-up tables), and adjusting the engine actuators accordingly.
Is this product a resistor?
No, this product does not connect to your engine sensor like many cheap products on the market. No splicing or cutting wires!
Do I need to use Stage 1 first in order to use Stage 2 or 3?
No, Stages will determine how much power you'll able to extract from your vehicle, you don't need to upgrade from one Stage to another.

This plug n play mod is really impressive! It is a mild but noticeable increase in performance and a more than expected increase in gas efficiency! These cars “need” performance enhancement as they are heavy and it’s weight is obvious when driving. I’m so impressed I’m gonna upgrade to the Stage 3 or Stage 4 if it’s available. I’ll make the upgrade with full confidence of the advertised performance improvements! Customer service is very good here as well. I actually ordered a GAN chip which got “stuck” in a FedEx facility in Germany for over 6 weeks and got terrible, non-existent customer service from GAN. They SUCK they won’t and/or don’t provide any customer service whatsoever! Finally PayPal got me a refund so if you’re looking for any kind of support from your chip tuning vendor don’t order from GAN! Thanks performance chip tuning, Rick T

My Stage2 chip 2000 Lexus sc300
I have no experience with this type of performance upgrade but The gain is very evident as well as the cars improved ability to rev thru the gears. Holeshot power is pretty good and the shifting is smooth. Pretty impressed with my Stage2. I’m gonna contact Performance for a trade-in upgrade to the Stage3 product. I would recommend this upgrade!

Noticeable improvement in first tank-full with fuel economy, throttle response and smoothness of the idle. Difficult to evaluate improvement in performance while in any Sport Mode. Definitely worth the investment!!
