How much horsepower will I gain?
Results do vary and can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to see results due to computer learning. Stage 1 recalibrates the ignition and fuel based on the variables such as the fuel octane, ambient air temp and other sensors in addition to driving style.

How does this product work?
Using your OBD on board computer port - plugs right in - our product modifies signals sent to your vehicles ECU computer. The module optimizes functions such as ignition timing, air fuel mixture, fuel maps and produces more power and better gas mileage. The ECU of modern vehicles controls a series of actuators on an internal combustion engine to ensure the optimum running. It does this by reading values from a multitude of sensors within the engine bay, interpreting the data using multidimensional performance maps (Look-up tables), and adjusting the engine actuators accordingly.

Smarttune Stage 2 for Chevy
Well after 2 weeks ago and putting 93 octane I did go from 17 MPG to right around 18.4 MPG give or take. Almost to 19.0 MPG at one time. I can feel the boost in power also, but I am waiting on my intake to come in and will decide if I am going to return it or not! Idk if I can justify having to fill up with 93 octane just to gain 1/2 MPG and a little boost in power, at these ridiculous gas prices right now. Without the 93 octane there is not much of a difference, but it has only been less than 2 weeks, so I will give it some time and an intake system and reevaluate!

The biggest disappointment for me was that there were no instructions with this. I had no idea how to install this thing. Fortunately my Son lives near by and he installed it. I STILL don't know if I just leave it in or if it recalibrate the ECU and I can take it out now? {NO INSTRUCTIONS}. It also is in an awkward spot where if I'm not careful I pop it out when applying the parking break. Other than that it seams to work as advertised. I'm pretty mad about the lack of instructions however. Makes you guys look like small time amateurs.
