How much horsepower will I gain?
Results do vary and can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to see results due to computer learning. Stage 1 recalibrates the ignition and fuel based on the variables such as the fuel octane, ambient air temp and other sensors in addition to driving style.

How does this product work?
Using your OBD on board computer port - plugs right in - our product modifies signals sent to your vehicles ECU computer. The module optimizes functions such as ignition timing, air fuel mixture, fuel maps and produces more power and better gas mileage. The ECU of modern vehicles controls a series of actuators on an internal combustion engine to ensure the optimum running. It does this by reading values from a multitude of sensors within the engine bay, interpreting the data using multidimensional performance maps (Look-up tables), and adjusting the engine actuators accordingly.

I was a little sceptical about performance chips altogether. But I gave them a chance. I have to say, I'm very pleased ! Definitely see a difference in the shifts and performance.

Stage 2 Chip for Mercedes 2012 Model W204
This chip did something right out of the box. Unsure of exact gains yet but it is doing something. No MPG gain on the stage two but power is noticable. It has been installed and driven daily for 9 days or so. Noticable effects were lower end torque and at the 3.5 RPM point the car pulls significantly harder. 0-60 not much different but 60-100 times is down by 1 second consistantly. I will unplug after the 2 week learning period and retest.

Smarttune Stage 2
So far, had the chip in for one full week and the car does seem to have more pickup. The torque has improved. You can feel that. The MPG is no different. Cannot tell if there is more horsepower. One thing I do notice is the car has a much better feel when the transmission is in comfort mode rather than sport mode. I do not detect any difference in sport mode, but a big difference in comfort mode. So far my opinion is mixed. Yes, I do notice differences and for the price of this chip, the differences are worth it in my opinion. Would I buy this chip again? Yes I would for the price. I'd love to see if there are any difference in the stage 3 and 4 chips. But for now, the stage 2 chip does do some of the things it claims to do.

Immediately following when I inserted my stage 2 it was just incredible I would recommend this product to anyone interested in adding the chip the power & overall performance is totally enhanced I can say though my gas mileage has decreased but I will accept the power before the gas mileage
